Our story

Bootnecks in2 Business (Bi2B) is a network of professionals that helps all Royal Marines Commandos, past and present.

Our founders and beneficiaries have, and are still experiencing first-hand what it is like to go through transition to the civilian world from the Royal Marines. We are a family that has far reaching connections across many organisations. We believe that if harnessed correctly, these connections can open up networks, that would otherwise be difficult to access.

Our Mission

We all know that there are huge benefits in mentoring, so to that end, advocates and beneficiaries have a unique opportunity to mentor members of Bi2B.

Bi2B provides a catalyst for Royal Marines talent to meet together informally, translate experiences, and find genuine opportunities to further their business aspirations or directly secure employment.

Front and centre of the organisation is the Royal Marines Ethos with a desire to take care of, support and give back to those who are transitioning from military to civilian life.

Bi2B strives to ensure that every former Royal Marines Commando, irrespective of rank, time served or specialisation can access and leverage the power of the Royal Marines network through a structured and proven format, operated and delivered by successful former Royal Marines.

With well-structured, regular networking events using the best facilities in London, we bring together key connections from interested organisations – engaged and influenced by our team – to connect with Royal Marines across the UK and around the globe, that are already in the transition pathway to civilian life and are keen to benefit from high-quality friendly forces looking to recruit high-quality talent.

Bi2B is also growing a diverse stable of successful former Royal Marines business leaders as mentors for Bi2B, who will be long-term supporters and advocates of Bi2B’s mission.
